We are very proud of our hip-hoppers, Kayleigh, Gabby and Zoey who qualified and got selected for the Eastern Cape team. They also received their Eastern Cape colours in Dance Sport. They represented the Eastern Cape and travelled up to nationals in Cape Town on the 26th of October where they competed against many other provinces from across South Africa.
Results are as follows:
Kayleigh Marais—Solo placed 9th overall in the U13 girl’s age group. She just missed the top 8 who qualified to represent South Africa at the world competition.
Gabrielle Erasmus – Solo placed 20th overall in the U13 girl’s age group
Zoey Malan – Solo placed 14th overall in the U15 girl’s age group
Gabrielle and Kayleigh’s duet placed 10th overall in the U13 Girls duos
Zoey, Gabrielle, and Kayleigh’s trio placed 4th overall in the U13 Girls Trios/Quads section just missing podiums in the finals.
